Getting Started

Quick guides to help you set up your account and get the most out of the platform.

Once you register, your coach will send you an invitation link to your team's BAND group. You can also join the main FILC BAND for club-wide announcements:
  1. Download the BAND app from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Create a free BAND account (email or phone number)
  3. Tap this link on your phone to join the FILC club BAND: band.us/n/ada3Abn6WcTd4
  4. Your individual team BAND invite will come from your coach once teams are formed
Tip: Enable push notifications for each BAND so you don't miss last-minute schedule changes.
Coaches post games and practices as BAND events. RSVP'ing helps with drills, lineups, and carpools.
  1. Open BAND and tap into your team's group
  2. Tap the event post (game or practice) — or go to the Calendar tab
  3. Tap Attending, Not Attending, or Maybe
  4. Optionally add a comment (e.g., "running 10 min late")
Your coach sees who's coming at a glance. Please RSVP as early as you know.
Avoid losing important info in email threads or group texts — use BAND.
  1. Open your team's BAND group
  2. For a team-wide message: tap the pencil/compose icon and write a post — everyone sees it
  3. For a 1-on-1 message: tap the Chat tab, then select the person you want to DM
Only members of your BAND group can see the conversation. FILC does not share contact info outside the team.
Registration happens entirely on filc.us — no separate account needed.
  1. Go to filc.us/register.html
  2. Pick the program from the dropdown (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, TryLAX)
  3. Fill in player info, parent contact, emergency contact, and medical notes
  4. Enter your USA Lacrosse membership ID (required for most programs — sign up here first if you don't have one)
  5. Acknowledge the waivers, then pay by card via Stripe
  6. You'll get a Stripe receipt and a separate welcome email from FILC within a few days
Tip: Use the same parent email for all your kids so everything rolls up under one contact record on our side.
Save filc.us to your phone's home screen for one-tap access to schedules, info, and registration.

On iPhone: Open filc.us in Safari → tap the Share button (square with arrow) → scroll down → tap "Add to Home Screen".

On Android: Open filc.us in Chrome → tap the three-dot menu → tap "Add to Home Screen".
Customize which alerts you get per BAND group.
  1. Open BAND → tap the BAND group you want to adjust
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (top right) → Notification Settings
  3. Choose: All posts, Posts with mentions only, or Off
  4. You can also set quiet hours so you don't get pinged late at night
We recommend All posts during your season so you don't miss schedule changes.
FILC no longer uses SportsEngine for new registrations — all sign-ups now go through filc.us/register.html. The only reason to log into SportsEngine today is to pull up receipts or records from a prior season.
  1. Go to user.sportngin.com/users/password/new
  2. Enter the email address tied to your old SportsEngine account
  3. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the reset link
  4. Click the link and create a new password
